Flamencode

Flamencode is a very low-level joke programming language made with C# and it is based on the Brainfuck language. This language uses some of the typical expressions used in flamenco songs as the name of the operators.

Syntax

Comments start from the '#' character and end at the line break.

Flamencode Brainfuck Description
anda > Increment the data pointer (to point to the next cell to the right)
asi < Decrement the data pointer (to point to the next cell to the left)
ole + Increment (increase by one) the byte at the data pointer
arsa - Decrement (decrease by one) the byte at the data pointer
mira . Output the byte at the data pointer
toma , Accept one byte of input, storing its value in the byte at the data pointer
dale [ If the byte at the data pointer is zero, then instead of moving the instruction pointer forward to the next command, jump it forward to the command after the matching arre command
arre ] If the byte at the data pointer is nonzero, then instead of moving the instruction pointer forward to the next command, jump it back to the command after the matching dale command

Example

In the Examples folder there are some sample implementations, example Hello World:

# Prints Hello World!

ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole # Set Cell 0 to 8

dale # Start loop
anda ole ole ole ole # Go to Cell 1 and set 4
dale # As the cell will be cleared by the loop
anda ole ole # Add 4*2 to Cell 2
anda ole ole ole # Add 4*3 to Cell 3
anda ole ole ole # Add 4*3 to Cell 4

How to use

To run a file code, you can download the executable corresponding to your operating system and type in the shell
