## Welcome :earth_africa:
I am Johannes Nauta, and I am currently a postdoctoral researcher studying networks and complex systems.
I am working at the Dept. of Physics of the University of Padova in Italy.

### Current research
My work aims to unravel how local (microscopic) feedback mechanisms influence global (meso- and macroscopic) dynamics of (meta)populations.

Our work shows that there are three distinct features that underlie stability: edge density, tendency to triadic closure, and isolation. It further highlights that one cannot disregard properties of the dispersal network when studying stability of meta-ecosystems.</small>
