CRIME is a CDMI Reference Implementation written in Erlang.
This project was put together to support a series of articles covering CDMI and programming web service applications in Erlang.
The intent of this project is to provide an alternative reference implementation of CDMI that hopefully demonstrates the concepts of CDMI and creating web service applications in Erlang. The end result of this project will be a fully functional CDMI implementation. This project does not attempt to make the most optimized, performant or even scalable CDMI implementation and should be considered as something for demonstration purposes only.
This project currently uses Erlang and Webmachine from Basho.
The code has been developed using Erlang R14B03.
Phase 1: Re-implementation of the worlds shortest cdmi-implementation by David Slik.
This version is intended to demonstrate setting up a simple Webmachine application that returns static CDMI content.
CDMI refers to the Cloud Data Management Interface, which has been published as a standard by the Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA).
Complete documentation for CDMI may be found here.
