This page gives an overview of how the SMS tool can be used by Move Up volunteers.

Phone Number

The SMS sign up can be done by texting MOVEUP to +1 (415) 338-9978.

Airtable

There are two tabs in (production) Airtable for the SMS tool: SMS Responses and SMS Questions. The first lets you see all of the responses that have been submitted through the SMS form. The second allows you to change the questions that are given to users in the SMS form.

Important: make sure each question has a corresponding answer column in the SMS Responses sheet! If you make a change, you can test it by texting the SMS phone number to see that everything works as expected.
