Assembly CHPC steps.

  1. Your copy of PCB
  2. Power source with piece of plastic as dielectric spacer and screws with plastic spacers: put it all together
  3. Hint: this step allows you to hold PCB vertically without external devices. It's handily to solder some components in this position.
  4. Resistors
  5. Insert the resistors through the board. Bend the leads slightly to hold resistors in place.
Solder it in place. Trim the leads. Other through-hole components soldering can be done the same way.
  6. RS485, DS18B20, EEV, i2c and inputs connectors
  7. Capatitors and IC 817 Hint: remember that points at IC and at PCB must be on same pin.
  8. Short Prot.4 Prot.5 and IG with wires.
  9. ULN2003 + DIP16 cases Hint: remember about markup on board, case and IC itself.
  10. 2.54 female connectors to Arduino and rs-485. Hint: if you do have only large header you can trim it into custom sizes.
  11. Put headers to pins as shown below, insert into CHPC and solder it.
  12. 12V input, 12-to-5 stab, buzzer and 2n2222. Hint: 7805 case must be slightly over the PCB if you do not use any spacers.
  13. LEDs and resistors. Not very important part you can omit this. Longer pins to the center of array, like at photo below.
  14. Relays. Prepare a large piece of alloy to add between PWR_IN and "Relay 5" that drives Compressor.
  15. Final connectors and buttons.
  16. Add alloy to PCB like below. Finaly, soldering is completed and the fruits of labor should looks like this:
    Add power source wiring
Mount display module (optional). Thats all, now you can mount and use it. !!! Remember about high volage !!!
