This is the 2024 edition of Open English Wordnet
Major changes include:
- More gendered terms and the removal of gendered language
- A new hierarchy for verbs including many new links
- Definitions and examples now use Unicode quotes and similar symbols
- Many, many typos and minor errors fixed
- Simplified and cleaned scripts to support building resource

- Reorganization of syntactic behaviors to reduce file sizes
- Over 150 community contributions

English WordNet 3.1
This is the version of English WordNet created from the Princeton WordNet 3.1 under the WordNet License. It contains no non-technical differences to the Princeton WordNet 3.1 release and a version of WordNet 3.1 can be created from this using the GWN Scala API. In particular, with the following command
