If you pass '.' as the watchDirectory, chokidar will ignore all files if you've set watchIgnoreDotFiles to true (which is the default). This tripped me up after the Switch to Chokidar commit was merged, since none of my file changes was causing forever-monitor to restart my app. See here for more details. This fixes that issue. Also, the watch:restart event had the file/stat variables mixed up, which I've fixed.
