Alerts user when they press shrink while compressing
No longer alerts when you press shrink while a compression operation is already in progress.
Made numbers smaller (rounded, bytes => megabytes)
Should make compression starting immediately obvious (it did in my testing.)

Install on Windows: Download space-saver-setup-1.8.3.exe
You can delete the .exe file once the app is installed

Install on Mac:

Option 1 (Sometimes requires admin)
Download space-saver-1.8.3.dmg
Open the .dmg and drag Space Saver into applications folder

Option 2 (Smaller download, admin not needed)
Download Space.Saver.app.tar.xz
Double click to open the tar.xz file. You can now run the app in place, or drag it into the applications folder.
Warning⚠️: If you do not drag Space Saver into the applications folder, it will be unable to compress applications.
If the tar.xz converts into a .cpgz, then stop using the buggy, built in, macOS unarchiver.

Install on Linux: The filenames should have enough information for you to figure it out
