Machine Learning Algorithms from Scratch 🔨

Tried to make a simple python library which conists of the simple regression and classification algorithms of ML purely using numpy and scikit-learn.

Usage/Examples 🧰

  • Make and initialize the training dataset
X, y = datasets.make_regression(
    n_samples=100, n_features=1, noise=20, random_state=4
)
  • Split the training data
X_train, X_test, y_train, y_test = train_test_split(
    X, y, test_size=0.2, random_state=1234
)
  • Run a model -> Lets take Linear Regression
regressor = LinearRegression(learning_rate=0.01, n_iters=1000)
regressor.fit(X_train, y_train)
predictions = regressor.predict(X_test)
  • Calculate the error and Accuracy
mse = mean_squared_error(y_test, predictions)
print("MSE:", mse)
accu = r2_score(y_test, predictions)
print("Accuracy:", accu)
  • Plott the graph
y_pred_line = regressor.predict(X)
