I. Adding the meta-darpahackfest layer to your build
=================================================

--- replace with specific instructions for the meta-darpahackfest layer ---

In order to use this layer, you need to make the build system aware of
it.

Assuming the meta-darpahackfest layer exists at the top-level of your
yocto build tree, you can add it to the build system by adding the
location of the meta-darpahackfest layer to bblayers.conf, along with any
other layers needed. e.g.:

  BBLAYERS ?= " \
    /path/to/yocto/meta \
    /path/to/yocto/meta-poky \
    /path/to/yocto/meta-yocto-bsp \
    /path/to/yocto/meta-meta-darpahackfest \
    /path/to/yocto/meta-sdr \
    /path/to/yocto/meta-raspberrypi \
    /path/to/yocto/meta-qt4 \
    /path/to/yocto/meta-openembedded/meta-networking \
    /path/to/yocto/meta-openembedded/meta-python \
    /path/to/yocto/meta-openembedded/meta-oe \
    /path/to/yocto/meta-openembedded/meta-filesystems \
    "

II. Misc
========

This layer is used for building images for the DARPA Bay Area Hackfest Event. It is intened to target a RPi3 using 64bit. Please follow the instructios at with meta-raspberrypi for configuartion to build for the RPi3. After configuring bblayers and local.conf for your build area build the image using:
bitbake darapahackfest-dev-image
This will create a .sdimg which can be copied to a sdcard using bmaptools

also read yocto_build_steps to see an example of the buildsteps for a hackfest computer
