Getting precommand and postcommand output. How to disable?

Today I noticed getting the following output on executing any commands:

$ (master) echo "hishtory"
echo "hishtory"
__hishtory_precommand
hishtory
__hishtory_postcommand;
__hishtory_precommand

Not sure what I did. How do I disable this? Couldn't find anything in help or the readme. Thanks.

Update. I was playing around with my bash command and noticed that after executing the command:

$ bash

which I believe sources my ~/.bashrc file, the precommand and postcommand output stopped. What's going on?
