This project utilizes a number of open source technologies to recored and display data collected by IoT devices.
The primary tech stack includes Kubernetes, InfluxDB, Telegraf, Eclipse Misquitto, and Grafana (Maybe). The emulate
directory is provided to simulate traffic.
You will first need to install docker-compose.

TODO
First create and activate your virtualenv - with the venv
package on OSX or Linux, this will be:
python3 -m venv venv
source venv/bin/activate
With your virtualenv active, install the project locally:
pip install -r ./emulate/requirements.txt
Second you will need to export the environmental variables, this can be don with:
export $(grep -v '^#' .env | xargs -d '\n')
Finally, run the python script with:
python ./emulate/mqtt_publisher.py
