Task Manager

Task Manager is a web application developed with Flask, aimed at providing a straightforward and efficient way to manage daily tasks. It allows users to add, view, update, and delete tasks, ensuring that they can keep track of their important activities with ease.

Prerequisites

Installation

Follow these steps to get your development environment set up:

  1. Clone the repository
git clone https://github.com/yourusername/task-manager-flask.git
cd task-manager-flask
  1. Set up a virtual environment
python3 -m venv venv
source venv/bin/activate  # On Windows use `venv\Scripts\activate`
  1. Install Flask
pip install Flask
  1. Run the application
export FLASK_APP=app.py  # On Windows use `set` instead of `export`
export FLASK_ENV=development
flask run

Access the web application at http://127.0.0.1:5000/ in your web browser.

Usage

Once the Task Manager is running, you can start adding tasks by navigating to the "Add Task" section. Enter the details of the task and submit. You can view all tasks, edit them, or delete them from the "View Tasks" section.

Deployment

For deploying this application, refer to the Flask Deployment Options to choose an approach that best fits your needs, whether it be on a traditional server or a more modern platform like Heroku or Docker.
