πŸ‘¨β€πŸ’» Clinton's Coding Journey

My programming journey began in early 2020, sparked by my fascination with Linux after reading The Hacker's Handbook. Later that year, I discovered C in my Intro to Programming class and explored C++ in 2021(while distro-hopping). While I appreciated the depth of these languages, I was drawn to Python's simplicity and spent much of my time scripting. In late 2021, I encountered Java in an advanced programming class, where its structured approach offered a reliable and consistent framework for problem-solving, resonating deeply with my values.
This pivotal moment ignited my passion for web development. In 2022, I grasped the fundamentals of frontend development with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, progressing to React and TypeScript, and eventually diving into Node.js and Express. A blockchain development externship further reinforced my skills in these areas, while also introducing me to blockchain technology through Solidity and Hardhat.
Throughout 2023, I honed my abilities through side projects and participation in national hackathons, earning both prizes and recognition for my exceptional work. In 2024, I refined my skills during a computer science internship that exposed me to DevOps practices while continuing with part-time freelance work.
My dedication to the craft continues to grow, fueled by a relentless passion for Fintech & Software Engineering. I am commited to harnessing technology to create innovative solutions that enhance user experiences and drive positive change in the financial sector. My ambition is to continue evolving my skills and contribute to transformative projects that will utlimately shape the future of technology & digital economies.
