Just some extra info here. I am pretty sure issues start after @celo/... packages upgraded to version 5.x.x . Versions 4.x.x with @ledgerhq/[email protected] still seem to work for now.

This same issue is blocking upgrade of @celo/... packages inside Celo Terminal too. If I upgrade them to 5.x.x versions, Ledger devices completely stop working.
