Hi, I was looking for the solution to a similar exercise and I found your code.
I thought I could contribute a bit.
It's basically easier to read the validation, but I do not know if converting to string and then matching is actually slower then your previous validation.

(also the extra lines are just sublime text adding empty lines at end of file whenever you save a file )
