Bootloader
The bootloader allows to update the firmware on the Crazyflie over-the-air.
Please note:
- Only supported when using Crazyradio.
Updating the firmware:
- The bootloader can be accessed here: Preferences button → Bootloader
- Select a firmware version in the drop down menu (the latest firmware is selected by default).
- You can click on the "i" button to read the release notes.
- Click on the "Flash firmware" button
- Put the Crazyflie in bootloader mode
- Crazyflie 2.0: Switch off the Crazyflie, then long-press the on/off button until only the two blue LEDs start blinking
- Wait until the flash process is done (should take about 30 seconds) and the Crazyflie starts again in normal mode (beeps and spins the props).
