This is the README file for Data::Random, a Perl module for generating random data.  You might find it helpful mostly in test programs to easily generate pseudo-realistic distributions of data.

INSTALLATION:

The standard perl module install process:

perl Makefile.PL
make
make test (optional)
make install

The module also the module Time::Piece for rand_date() and rand_datetime()
and GD for rand_image(). Both are available on CPAN. Time::Piece is included
in core Perl 5.10.0 and up.
