Description

Updates the readme to prepare for the archiving of the repository now the theme has been merged in to WordPress Core.

The changes are largely based on the equivalent commit for TT3, WordPress/twentytwentythree@11440a5

In my opinion we should wait with this and with archiving the GitHub repo while the suggestions from the community summit are being discussed.

I would love to see the default themes moved to github, so if we can discuss how to make that happen, I'm all in on that

I'm happy to wait for the discussion on GitHub vs trac to continue prior to archiving the repository. I had the same question but wanted to create this so the update was ready in the event it is needed.

Are each of you able to comment to the effect on the Summit post to move it towards a conclusion about where theme development takes place.

Related, I'm maintaining the cron job on 2024.wordpress.net to sync from this repo. If we do archive it, I'll disable it to defer to the normal theme upgrader system.
