The fix in already merged 5ccb416 works for me locally, I suspect it just hasn't been published. Here's how it looks:

huh, ok. The online version was having some transparency issues and I assumed the PNG was broken somehow. Well, it seems to be working properly. |

It is just that the previous image was a circle, so the rest was filled with our background color for profile pictures, which looked weird in your case. |

There's a weird transparency issue going on, at least on my end. Hopefully this one fixes that.
