Spore PNG Downloader v0.1

Initial release. This was written very quickly and not as elegantly as I would've liked, but it works.

This app allows you to quickly download all creations from a specific person as PNGs. It will also download a file containing various information about each creation, including the name, description, tags, type, and comments.

This is a command line app, and this version requires Windows (64-bit). If you need a different version, ask on Discord (below).

Usage

Download the SporePNGDownloader.exe file, and place it in a folder. All creations will be downloaded to the same folder where the file is placed.

Do not double-click the file to run it. It will not work.

Open a command prompt (or Windows Powershell) - on Windows 10, go to the folder where the SporePNGDownloader.exe file is located, click "File" in the top left, and "Open Windows PowerShell".

Type the following, then press Enter. Replace <username> with the username of the player whose creations should be downloaded.
.\SporePNGDownloader.exe <username>

For example: .\SporePNGDownloader.exe MaxisCactus

The app will search for all of their creations, and then begin downloading the PNGs. This may take a while, especially for players with large numbers of creations.

The creations will be placed in a "spore_assets" folder, and sorted into subfolders by username. The files will be named according to the IDs used by the Spore server. PNG files are the actual creations, and the files ending in "_meta.xml" contain the information and comments for each creation.
