We can differentiate two type of sounds in Ms.Pac-man and we will separate it in order to make easier to explain them.

####In-game sounds

  • Waka-Waka: The basic sound we hear when she moves through the maze. Provided that you stop moving, you will be hearing this sound at all time. Sound
  • Ms.Pac-man eating dots: Every time Ms.Pac-man eats a dot there is a short high-pitched sound. In early game, when practically all the maze is full of dots, you listen this sound along with the waka-waka.
  • Ms.Pac-man eating fruits: When a fruit has been eaten, there is a deeper sound than the one listened when a dot has been eaten. Sound
  • Siren: There are 4 bigger dots in the 4 corners of the maze and when Mrs.Pac-man eats them, there is no an especific sound but then appears a siren which replaces the waka-waka and the tempo become faster and faster. The siren tempo is linked to the time the ghosts are in fear-mode.
  • Eating a Ghost: When in fear-mode, Ms.Pac-man can eat the ghosts, when this happens, there is a sound like when it eats a fruit but a lot more deeper. Sound
  • Death-Sound: When Ms.Pac-man is caught by a ghost, a sound with 4 musical notes sounds while Ms.Pac-man spins in place.

####Other Sounds

The other sounds are, for example, the music you hear during the animations or in the main menu.

  • Main Menu Music: While it does the animation where appears Ms.Pac-man and the 4 ghosts appear one by one like they are presented in a stage play. Sound
  • They Met: First intermission. Sound
  • The Chase: Second intermission. Sound
  • Junior: Third intermission. Sound
