Welcome to the Schroedinger wiki!
The purpose of Schroedinger is to solve and visualise quantum mechanical systems in a versatile way. It is a didactic instrument, to learn about the behaviour of quantum mechanical particles without the constrained of a single-solver/basis approach that tend to be applicable to only a generalized example.
Right now Schroedinger uses a Numerov solver to find the solution to the Schroedinger equation in coordinate space. But a versatile basis class has been developed with potential to be the foundation for our scope. This basis class (cf. this wiki) has to be integrated with the solver, enabling solution in many-dimensional spaces. A logger has to be implemented, to enable result printing, saving and eventual visualisation.
The wiki is a documentation page regarding current and future structure of the code. At the present state it is an internal document, to foster discussion in the structure of the code and steering development directions in a more articulate way than a Kanban board or issue statements. Comment and contribute!
Comments and proposals on footers. Official language is English, but you can use Italian in the comments if you feel more comfortable.
Currently, main development regards classes implementation, following this plan.
