Draft: Workflow improvements to run independently of BETY

Description

This draft Pull Request introduces changes to allow the LPJ-GUESS workflow to run independently of the BETY database. The main changes include:

• Updated database connection logic to handle missing BETY settings.
• Added fallback mechanisms for standalone workflow operation.
