Differences between Paazl for Magento 1.x and Magento 2.x

Main differences between the Paazl Mag1 extension and Paazl Mag2 extension:

The new Paazl Magento2 extension is all about the delivery experience of consumers. It comes with the brand new Paazl Checkout Widget that helps you display any type delivery method in your Magento checkout. Think of any type of home delivery (e.g. same-day, next-day, nominated-day) and thousands of carrier pickup points. With our checkout widget we even support click & collect @your store (See more here).

The typical Magento2 customer for this extension has international ambitions, high volume delivery and processes its shipments via an ERP/OMS/WMS. Paazl shipping capabilities from the backend of Magento are therefore limited. The following is no longer supported (in comparison to the Paazl Mag1 extension):

  • Printing shipping labels via the Orders overview
  • Adding shipping labels on the Magento packing slip
  • Track&trace status / tracking link in the Magento Admin and Customer Account

Note that we have added the (previously, un-supported) functionality listed below to the current Paazl Mag2 extension 1.2.0:

  • Changing the delivery method of orders already sent to Paazl
  • Applying a Paazl delivery method for orders created in the Magento backend
