Either download from the cache:

nix-store -r /nix/store/z7arvfbjps1f1d7fjc85w4w861c8yy3n-elixir-ls-0.26.1 \
  --option binary-caches 'https://cache.nixos.org/ https://nixpkgs-update-cache.nix-community.org/' \
  --option trusted-public-keys '
  nixpkgs-update-cache.nix-community.org-1:U8d6wiQecHUPJFSqHN9GSSmNkmdiFW7GW7WNAnHW0SM=
  cache.nixos.org-1:6NCHdD59X431o0gWypbMrAURkbJ16ZPMQFGspcDShjY=
  '

(The nixpkgs-update cache is only trusted for this store-path realization.)
For the cached download to work, your user must be in the trusted-users list or you can use sudo since root is effectively trusted.

Or, build yourself:

nix-build -A beam26Packages.elixir-ls https://github.com/r-ryantm/nixpkgs/archive/1ba888e6618b96c1d701e772dfc10c99c94c4a31.tar.gz

Or:

nix build github:r-ryantm/nixpkgs/1ba888e6618b96c1d701e772dfc10c99c94c4a31#beam26Packages.elixir-ls

After you've downloaded or built it, look at the files and if there are any, run the binaries:

ls -la /nix/store/z7arvfbjps1f1d7fjc85w4w861c8yy3n-elixir-ls-0.26.1
ls -la /nix/store/z7arvfbjps1f1d7fjc85w4w861c8yy3n-elixir-ls-0.26.1/bin

Pre-merge build results

We have automatically built all packages that will get rebuilt due to
this change.

This gives evidence on whether the upgrade will break dependent packages.
Note sometimes packages show up as failed to build independent of the
change, simply because they are already broken on the target branch.

@adamcstephens it seems a PR for each of the beampackages versions was created. Perhaps because of this we should only have the beam27Packages recurse into attributes
I was also thinking that we should keep latest simple to use and the other beam versions can default to not cached

One of my goals was specifically to cache more beam versions and the child packages. Is there no other way to stop the bot from opening PRs across the versions?

nix-community/infra#1635 should do what we need. Note I chose beam 26 otherwise multiple older elixirs will not get bumped.
