I tested this version twice:

• once after cherry-picking the commit onto recent nixos-unstable
• once after cherry-picking the commit onto recent nixos-24.11 (with conflicts resolved in favor of the newest version number and hash)

Tested on a NixOS 24.11 installation, within an X11/plasma5 desktop with PulseAudio.

Unfortunatelly, zoom-us crashes as soon as I start it. My first try crashed the machine after zoom immediatelly ate all RAM and swap. Then I tested both builds within a shell spawned by systemd-run --user -p MemoryMax=20G -p MemorySwapMax=2G -p CPUQuota=800% -S to protect my system from crashing again. After starting the zoom-us binary, the shell terminated and systemd reported Finished with result: oom-kill.

After zoom got terminated, the file ~/.zoom/logs/zoom_stdout_stderr.log reads

ZoomLauncher started.
Zoom path is: /nix/store/a696i768ay8842zj4clv9i062zswprh6-zoom-6.3.1.5673/opt/zoom
