In ISFE every machine is matched to a tier represented by a machine case.
| Tier | Name | Description |
|---|---|---|
| 0 | Wooden | Crude constructions like chests, worktables and manual machinery. |
| 1 | Stone | Machines that are resistent to heat but can not work with energy. |
| 2 | Iron | Your first simple machines that can receive energy but are unable to process advanced alloys. |
| 3 | Bronze | Your gateway to mystical machines that are able to process with magic ways. |
| 4 | Steel | Machines that are more robust and advanced for digital technologies. |
| 5 | Elven Silver (?) | Machines that can be crafted with elven knowledge that you can not comprehend. |
| 6 | Osmium | Machines that open the doors to mass production and space exploration. |
| 7 | Draconic Steel | With the power from the stars you can now build machines that are able to process extraterrestrial materials. |
| 8 | Black Iron (Rename) | Your last step before advancing to infinity is powered by black magic. |
| 9 | Nano (Creative) | Machines that evolve you to some form of a god. They are able to process everything you can think of. |
As you advance your technologies you notice that you have reached the boundaries of your knowledge as an engineer. You look further into forgotten spells and magical plants and rocks. With time you become more confident and make a pact with beings that are beyond your understanding of the world.
