In order to be able to use these Proxmox GUI controlling of the VM, the `dbus` and `qemu-guest-agent` needs to be installed in the DietPi VM, afterwards it should be followed by a DietPi VM reboot:

DietPi versions before v8.25:
Since DietPi v8.25, the first run installation script enables this feature. For older Proxmox DietPi VMs, it can be achieved by installing the `dbus` and `qemu-guest-agent` within the DietPi VM followed by a DietPi VM reboot:
