Comments

Comments begin with a percent sign (%) and extend to the end of the line.

% This is a comment.

Block comments begin with /* and end at */, and may cross multiple lines. Block comments may not nest.

/*
    This is a multi-line
    comment.
*/

The usual convention is to use %-comments almost exclusively.
