Long name: IcoswISC30L64E3SMv3r5

This nearly uniform 30 km mesh is the dual mesh of a subdivided icosahedron (Icos).

This mesh differs from IcoswISC30E3r2 (#691) primarily in having the the bug fix in #732, but also it has been produced with updated versions of the mpas_tools and pyremap packages, leading to small changes in the topography and coast line.

It differs from IcoswISC30E3r4 (#734) in not having additional topographic smoothing.

Mesh, initial condition, dynamic adjustment and files for E3SM are on Chrysalis at:

/lcrc/group/e3sm/ac.xylar/compass_1.2/chrysalis/e3smv3-meshes/icoswisc30e3r5

Testing

This mesh has been used in E3SM B-case simulations and has been merged into E3SM, see E3SM-Project/E3SM#6079
