I'd like to contribute my "Atomic Mesh" pattern. I hope I understood it well and that it was just a matter of adding an extra LI to the HTML.
I believe it's novel because it uses 'interference' as a an 'aesthetic principle'. The two backgrounds have slightly different sizes. This creates an interesting visual effect. I believe others could make this work even better!
