OmniMIDI is stuttering

Problem

OmniMIDI makes the audio stutter, how can I fix this?

Fix

For DirectSound users:

1. Try updating your DirectX files through the DirectX Web Installer. (You can trigger that by reinstalling OmniMIDI)
2. Try increasing the buffer size to 30 or 50.
3. Switch to WASAPI.

For WASAPI users:

1. Try using a different audio device. You can switch between devices from OmniMIDI itself, by opening the configurator, and by going in the Settings tab > Advanced audio settings > Change default audio output.
2. If you've chosen to get exclusive access to the device, try disabling it, or try increasing the buffer.

For ASIO users:

1. Try using a different ASIO driver. (Install the demo of FL Studio from there, Image-Line FL Studio. Its driver, FL Studio ASIO, is the most compatible.)
2. Increase the buffer size in the configurator, or in the ASIO driver's settings program.
3. Switch to WASAPI.
