A nice trick is looking places up on Google Map and then there are usually links to their website (where you might be able to see the menu from the drop down usually named "Carta"), or links to delivery websites (the menu available for delievery might be more limited than the menu on site). You can usually find out about the ingredients there or see if they label anything with "vegano/vegana" or "vegetariano/vegetariana" (this is more common for restaurants on Just Eat, where they can label items in the delivery menu as "vegano" or "vegetariano").
- Senpan: Asian/Galician fusion. You can pick a wok base and add ingredients. There are verduras (vegetable) base and base of different carbs like rice. And there are many toppings or sauce options that are vegan. The waiter speaks English.
- Kohlanta: all kinds of Asian food, they have vegan Nasi Goreng, vegan pad Thai and vegan dumplings.
- Thai Bangkok: Thai food. Many dishes can be made vegan. Very tasty. Waiters speak English.
- Al Wahab: Lebanese food with many vegan options. The place is a bit small.
- El Rincón de Alba: International food. They have a vegan menu and a non-vegan menu. The place is a bit small but they have outdoor seats.
- Restaurante FU 福餐厅: Chinese food. They have a Platos Vegetarianos section in the menu that contain some typical vegan Chinese food.
- La Piadina Rimense (at Juana de Vega): They have frozen yogurt, smoothies, full salads, piadinas (Italian flatbread) and rolls with various fillings. There is a “Piadina veggie” section for vegetarian piadinas. The food comes out very quickly at the counter. They also have coffee and a lot of power outlets.
- La Tagliatella (at Alfredo Vicenti): Italian food, so a lot of cheese-based dishes. You can pick from a wide range of pasta with a wide range of toppings, some of them vegetarian.
- La Mafia se sienta a la mesa (at Praza Galicia): Italian food.
- Seul Soul: Korean food. Many dishes can be made vegetarian (it may be possible to ask them to remove the egg and make it vegan).
- Café Veracruz Boutique: good deserts and the coffee is also decent, a lot of seats. It's okay-ish to use laptops there.
- Inzo Coffee Designer: good coffee with a lot of seats. They have a "30min max of laptop use" sign but aren't really enforcing it. They have power outlets.
- WACO: good coffee, not a lot of seats, not very suitable for using laptops.
- Siboney (at Ferrol): they supply the coffee to many local restaurants and have a wide range of coffees & methods to choose from. Not a lot of seats.
- Astro Café (at San Andrés): decent coffee, no seats.
- Santander Work Café: it's also a co-working space so you can also use laptops there.
- Bonilla A La Vista (at Juan Florez): it's a famous Churro place of A Coruña, with okay coffee and quite a few seats. It would be a bit weird to use laptops there.
- La Piadina Rimense (at Juana de Vega): as mentioned above you can also use laptops there. They have a lot of power outlets.
