This release brings improvements to your device in terms of stability, performance, and security.

Kernel

  • Turn off MGLRU completely for One UI
  • Make frequency boosting less aggressive to alleviate heating on certain devices and configurations.
  • Introduce a frequency 'scaling' strategy based on the processor's efficient frequencies. This is currently under testing and future updates will improve upon this.
  • Merge upstream changes from Google and Samsung.

System

  • Fix Secure Folder for users who have clean flashed 4.0.56.
  • Update Photo Remaster libraries to fix Photo Remastering.
  • Revert a pending change that accidentally made Slow Motion mode stop working.
  • Add 'aspect ratio' settings to Zest
