Account for 'undefined' or 'null' base_color values in make_color. #55

Allows for undefined or null values to be passed to make_color, which was previously throwing an error.

Useful for this kind of thing:

// baseColor may or may not be defined

please.make_color({
    colors_returned: 10,
    base_color: baseColor
});
