Welcome to the Floxx app wiki!
Floxx is a project that aims to manage attendees flux during conference (mainly for Devoxx France currently).
The main purpose of this app is to ease RedCoat's life while they manage a room for a talk at Devoxx FR.
You will find below a full description of app's screens to ease your journey into it.
Technically, this is a web app based on the following stack :
- Scala / ZIO
- VueJs / Vite
- PostgresSQL
Access to app : Floxx App
The zone on top of the screen, below Floxx title, is dedicated to navigation. This is here that you will find the buttons that you are able to used to navigate throughout app's screens.

Prefer using app's buttons rather than browser ones
This is the entry point of Floxx App.
Before the beginning of the Devoxx conference, you should receive your information (login / password)
This is from here that all will happen :)
- MySlots : Here, you will find your planning on whole conference.
- All actives' Slots : Here you will find all talks that currently run (information depend on current time and day)
- Overflow : Here, you will find filling state of all currents talks (information depend on current time and day)
When you will click on one button, you will access to the screen that enable you to input the filling state of the room.
This screen could be helpful in case of two redcoats exchange their places or for other situation for a redcoat that not affected on specific talk.

Notice that there is no real importance about who filled information into Floxx about talks. The most important at the end is that information about filling is input in app.
When you are accessed to this screen is meaning that you are in context of specific talk (you can see details on top of the screen).
Each Button correspond to a filling rate. By clicking on one of those, you automatically save the value indicated on it. Then the value will be displayed on Overflow screen.
In case of wrong selecting value, no worries, just click again on button with the right value. **Last clicked button will be the last keept value, so feel free to click on button as necessary**

This screen show the planning on of whole conference (3 days).
By clicking on block, you can access to the slot details as, room, kind of talk, speaker(s), and which red coat is affected on the room.
Important : If you want exchange your room with another redcoat, you should ask (by whatsapp, or directly) the admin user to operate the change in Floxx.
Floxx must be always up-to-date to be able to the redcoat's manager to know who is where.
This space provide some usefull for redcoat or attendees information. Feel free to ask to add any information if you think there is missing one.
Reminder : Purpose of Floxx is to provide quickly as possible the filling rate of each room for a specific slot time. This information will be shared in live with Voxxrin app. This application is used by attendees. So, attendees can see in live which rooms remain accessible and which ones are full.

From the My slots screen, I select, by clicking, the next room that I will supervise.

The filling screen appears.

From now, you will click on the percentage button gradually on depending on number of attending in the room.
Ideally, you should update the filling rate as quickly as possible ; Purpose is to keep information freshly as possible to keep attendees up to date if current room is full or not.
** that's all! In this way, attendees can avoid frustrated feeling of the fulled room.**
Whether on filling percentage screen, if you make a mistake by clicking on wrong button, no worries !!
Floxx works in the manner that the last clic is the truth. So to fix the error, just clic again but on the right button :)
