Global Locks are used to ensure that when a particular operation is in progress, no other operations (across all types of state machines) should take place using the same global identifier.

Immediate Rejection Lock and Sleep State Lock.
This lock type immediately rejects any new requests for a specific state machine type when the lock is active.
- Behavior: When a request is received, the system checks for an active Immediate Rejection Lock for the requested state machine type. If the lock is active, the request is immediately rejected with an appropriate error message.
- Use Case: Useful in scenarios where no new operations should be initiated for a specific state machine type, such as during critical updates or maintenance specific to that type.
This lock type puts incoming requests into a "sleep" state. Requests resume execution once the lock expires or is removed.
- Behavior: Upon receiving a request, the system checks for an active Sleep State Lock for the requested state machine type. If the lock is active, the request is put into a sleep state. These requests are queued and resumed once the lock is lifted.
- Use Case: Ideal for scenarios where operations can be delayed without immediate rejection, such as batch processing or non-time-critical tasks.
