Lynsyn Software

The lynsyn software suite consists of all the tools necessary for performing and visualising power measurements of an embedded system using any of the Lynsyn boards. The following software tools exists:

For users:

• lynsyn_viewer: GUI tool to do power and program counter (PC) measurements.
• lynsyn_sampler: Command line tool to do power and program counter (PC) measurements.
• lynsyn_xsvf: Program to read and play back JTAG (x)svf files using Lynsyn
• lynsyn_xvc: XVC server to enable Lynsyn to function as a generic JTAG debugger for Xilinx tools.

For developers:

• lynsyn_tester: Program to test, initialize and calibrate lynsyn boards.
• liblynsyn: C library handling all communication with lynsyn. Can be used to create new software for Lynsyn.

Configuration:

• Setting up the JTAG device list
