This mesh is a new eddy closure (EC) mesh with ice-shelf cavities (wISC) that has:
This mesh is a candidate for the E3SM v3 (E3) low res mesh. It is revision 3 (r3) of the mesh. It is the same as ECwISC30to60E3r2 except that it does not include the ice-shelf cavities around Antarctica.
The mesh was created using compass, and is being developed in this PR:
MPAS-Dev/compass#700
It will be tagged as:
