Test done for March 21, 2022


Test #1: Test All Image Effects

Steps Performed:

  1. Go into a library and select an image
  2. Click on the β€œEdit” button
  3. Confirm that the edit view and the selected image appears within the edit screen
  4. Select the β€œEffects” option
  5. Select the first effect (β€œEdge Enhance”) and then click β€œApply”
  6. Click "Save"
  7. Check the library and confirm that the effect was correctly applied to the image
  8. Refresh the page to confirm that the changes are saved
  9. Repeat steps 1-7 for all the other effects (β€œEmboss”, β€œGrungy”, β€œHazy”, β€œLomo”, β€œRadial Blur”, β€œSin City” and β€œTilt Shift”)

Test #2: Test all image filters

Steps Performed:

Test all image filters

  1. Go into a library and select an image
  2. Click on the β€œEdit” button
  3. Confirm that the edit view and the selected image appears within the edit screen
  4. Select the β€œFilters” option
  5. Select the first filter (β€œCross Process”) and then click β€œApply”
  6. Check the library and confirm that the effect was correctly applied to the image
  7. Refresh the page to confirm that the changes are saved
  8. Repeat steps 1-7 for all the other Filters (β€œGlow Sun”, β€œJarques”, β€œLove”, β€œOld Boot”, β€œOrange Peel”, β€œPin Hole”, β€œSepia”, β€œSun Rise” and β€œVintage”)

Test #3: Test All Image Orientations

Steps Performed:

  1. Go into a library and select an image
  2. Click on the β€œEdit” button
  3. Confirm that the edit view and the selected image appears within the edit screen
  4. Select the β€œOrientation” option
  5. Click on β€œRotate Left” and then click β€œApply”
  6. Check the library and confirm that the effect was correctly applied to the image
  7. Refresh the page to confirm that the changes are saved
  8. Repeat steps 1-7 for the other orientations (β€œRotate Right”, β€œFlip Horizontally”, β€œFlip Vertically”)
  9. Once all those buttons are tested test the angle slider
  10. Use the angle slider and change the angle of the image from 0 to 90 and then click β€œApply”
  11. Check the library and confirm that the orientation change was correctly applied to the image
  12. Refresh the page to confirm that the changes are saved

Steps Performed:

  1. Go into a library and select an image
  2. Click on the β€œEdit” button

  4. Select the β€œCrop” option
  5. Select the β€œSquare” crop and then click β€œApply”
  6. Check the library and confirm that the crop was correctly applied to the image
  7. Refresh the page to confirm that the changes are saved
  8. Repeat steps 1-7 for the other crops (β€œBanner”, β€œRound”, β€œ5:4” and β€œ4:3”)

Test #5: Test Image Resizing

Steps Performed:

  1. Go into a library and select an image
  2. Click on the β€œEdit” button
  3. Confirm that the edit view and the selected image appears within the edit screen
  4. Select the β€œResize” option
  5. Change the height to be β€œ100” and then click β€œApply”
  6. Check the library and confirm that the resize was correctly applied to the image
  7. Refresh the page to confirm that the changes are saved
  8. Repeat steps 1-7 for the other heights in increments of 100 as well as Widths in increments of 100

Steps Performed:

  1. Go into a library and select an image
  2. Click on the β€œEdit” button
  3. Confirm that the edit view and the selected image appears within the edit screen
  4. Select the β€œShapes” option
  5. Add a square
  6. Change the color, opacity, stroke to random values and then click β€œApply”
  7. Check the library and confirm that the shape was correctly added to the image
  8. Refresh the page to confirm that the changes are saved
  9. Repeat steps 1-7 for the other shapes with varying opacity, stroke color, stroke width and fill color

Steps Performed:

  4. Select the β€œText” option
  5. Change the default text
  6. Change the font
  7. Change the font size
  8. Change to fill color to something other than black
  9. Change the opacity
  10. Change the stroke color
  11. Change the text width
  12. Click the β€œApply” button
  13. Check the library and confirm that the shape was correctly added to the image
  14. Refresh the page to confirm that the changes are saved
  15. Repeat steps 1-14 with other settings

Test #8: Test Image Levels

Steps Performed:

  1. Go into a library and select an image
  2. Click on the β€œEdit” button
  3. Confirm that the edit view and the selected image appears within the edit screen
  4. Select the β€œAdjust” option
  5. Adjust the brightness slider all the way to the left and click β€œApply”
  6. Check the library and confirm that the brightness of the image was changed
  7. Refresh the page to confirm that the changes are saved
  8. Select the image again to be edited
  9. This time move the brightness slider all the way to the right and click β€œApply”
  10. Check the library and confirm that the brightness of the image was changed
  11. Refresh the page to confirm that the changes are saved
  12. Now repeat steps 1-11 for the β€œContrast”, β€œExposure” and β€œSaturation” sliders

  3. Press the reset function
  4. Confirm that the image goes back to it's previous state

  5. Make a change
  6. Save changes
  7. Check the library to see if changes were made
