As requested here #30 I ended up added a settings page to the program, which includes an option to enable "Always on top". This option, as the name suggest, renders the program above all other programs.

For people who are curious, this was done using the Windows Registry, and I'm adding the key to the Software key for the current user under the name D2SE.
