  • make into an enableable tool with persistent state
  • apply intel from rome of oxtrot regarding which ticks are important for maintaining game state
  • add additional checks to keep crop growth in sync
  • update timers for hunger, thirst, sleepiness, and periodic noble tasks

did some research on armies, but not enough to be confident about how to move them along their path
