Description

Attempts to discourage Legion metarushing the NCR base on sunnydale. Also improves the facilities at the NCR camp.

Motivation and Context

The base has r-walls at its weakest point, which are normally pretty strong. However, they're broken by C4, which Legion gets 5 bricks of roundstart. This PR covers the area around the base in indestructotiles with the exception being the front gate.

Legion camp also loses its 5 bricks of C4, because having easy access to a good supply of explosives roundstart is pretty iffy, especially for the most combative and hostile of the organized factions.

Other changes:

  • NCR get a proper kitchen and chemistry setup now (doctors start with chemistry textbook).
  • The base now actually has shutters (like the legion camp) as well as cameras, so they can see out when the shutters are closed.
  • Their farm has been expanded with botany equipment such as seed vendors, a biogen and a stationary seed maker.
  • They get an ATV now, so they can actually use the key in their armory.

Massive NCR buff. I'm indifferent about the Legion C4, but this is too much in one PR. NCR get a full lab roundstart, which is already a lot, but then you've also given them better means to mass-produce plants and food, and a car? You've effectively buffed NCR to the point where they have everything they need in their camp at roundstart, making those early skirmishes with legion scouts and scavengers even less likely.

Pull way back, my dude.
