Yamagi Quake II 8.41 (WinARM64)
Yamagi Quake II is an enhanced client for id Software's first-person shooter Quake II.
The project's goal is to provide the best Quake II experience possible, by striving not only to preserve the game play as it was back in 1997, but also aiming for bug fixes, stability and gentle enhancements where appropriate.
Although the original game data files are required, the demo is also supported.
Note
This WinARM64 build comes with the dedicated client & server components for the base game, as well as support for all three add-ons:
- Three Wave Capture the Flag v1.10
- The Reckoning v2.13
- Ground Zero v2.12
Tip
Some game settings must be altered through configuration files (e.g. config.cfg
located @ %userprofile%\Documents\YamagiQ2\baseq2
) or entered via ingame console.
Additional information:
Open the console by pressing "'" (below Esc) and type:cl_showfps 1
a good indicator whether to lower graphics features and resolution
Flycast 2.4 (WinARM64)
Back in the day the Dreamcast was a bit of an exotic game console:
- first to hit the market (6th generation)
- yet Sega's last endeavour
- Microsoft's first HW console project (Windows CE games)
- PowerVR GPU (evolved into Kyro and iPhone 1-7)
- ARMv7 sound processor
Flycast is a solid emulator for many of Dreamcast's game titles.
Note
This Windows ARM64 build might have some quirks e.g. the Vulkan renderer.
