In this project, supervised multi-class classification algorithms and deep neural network is implemented to detect network intrusion. KDD Cup 1999 dataset is used to train, validate and test the performance of different developed algorithms. various evaluation metrics such as F1 score, recall and precision was applied to evaluate the models
