Real-Time Simulation Models v6.2
V6.2 Release Notes
- Previous versions of this model had issues when using the state-space nodal (SSN) solver OLTC model within the SSN library.
- This update uses a new version of the OLTC model, which makes it possible to simulate the OLTC without an explicit representation of taps via switches (which considerably increases computation requirements).
- The model does not require to generate S-functions any longer. Model only needs to be built in RT-Lab to be executed.
Requirements and Dependencies
- RT-Lab v11.3.1.34
- ARTEMiS v7.3.0.1251
- MATLAB 2015aSP1
Authors
- Hossein Hooshyar, RPI, October 2018.
EMTP-Models-v1.0.0 - New Release Including EMTP-RV Compatible Models
This release includes models compatible with the EMTP-RV off-line simulator.
Version 6.1 with Corrected ReadMe and File Organization
There are no changes to the models in this release, only to the ReadMe and organization of the files.
V6.1
-
The dq connection to the excitation system is now fixed. Also the measurements are decoupled using a bus selector.
-
The three-phase motors stall correctly.
-
Time-definite OC protection are added to all motors.
The grid is now more stable compared to the previous version. Also, it shows slightly different dynamics.
SSN Model Version 6.1
This release refers to the SSN model.
The improvements in this version are as follow:
- The qd connection to the excitation system is now fixed. Also the measurements are decoupled using a bus selector.
- The three-phase motors stall correctly.
- Instantaneous OC protection are added to all motors.
Updates were made by Hossein Hooshyar.
