The bedplate is mounted onto the gantry with 4mm countersunk screws and rigid plastic spacers between the bedplate itself and the gantry.

I'd suggest to use a digital caliper for doing so, but it you don't have one, you can also place them next to each other onto a *flat* surface and place something thin and straight ((e.g. a ruler) onto them to check and compare the height.

### MOD: Adjustable Spacers

Because you can't tram the bed itself due to this rigid construction, you may want to replaced the stock spacers with springs or silicone spacers which allows tramming of the bed itself.
When doing so while using the threads in the bedgantry where you screw in the screws, you'd have to access the screws from above for tramming the bed.

If you don't want that and if you want to be able to adjust the bed's height from the underside, you'd have to drill out the threads. Then secure the screws by adding a nut (place an additional nylon washer between the bed's underside and the nut!) and screw them against the bedplate. After doing so, you can then add the knobs underneath the gantry after putting everything together.
It's advisable to make sure that the bolt can't turn itself loose due to the vibration, so add some sort of nut acting as a lock nut (like a nylon lock nut, a regular counter nut, a wingnut or so) to the tip of the screw underneath the bed gantry as well.

People often think that using adjustable spacers would be an improvement as that allows them to manually tram the bed. While this is true in the meaning that you can't trame the bed itself with rigid spacers, it's actually not necessarily true that people are actually able to achieve better results when using adjustable spacers and tramming the bed manually.
Not only do we have to access the screws from above here (which can be solved by drilling out the holes as mentioned above), but it can also be pretty challenging to adjust the height to get the four corners of the bed being equidistant to the nozzle with less variances than when using rigid spacers.
Besides that, when adjusting the height, people tend to compress the spacers too much, which then puts additional stress onto the bedplate and might lead to more warping.
It can also lead to the circumstance that the bedplate will be too low and that the underside will hit the mount of the Y-axis motor which then can do harm and create a shortcut to the heater coil. So pay close attention to that!
