This PR is raised with respect to the issue #1 .
Although some custom text and background classes have been used , they haven't been initilized in the tailwind config.
Apart from that there were some divs where classes needed too be added. Here is the before and after for your reference.

Simar to you I referenced backpack. This was not the case with the project shown in class. If you have those changes commited on your local, I'm happy to take back my PR :)
