I am up to three Chromes for the profiles that initially doubled. I have added a new profile while the others were doubled; the new profile doubled when the others increased to three.
Edge, IE, and Firefox have not increased.

Edit: I was running 1.14.0. I just uninstalled it, and downloaded and installed 1.14.1 - no change.

I have 4 'copies' of each of my Chrome profiles. I'm running v1.4.1, and this is my first day of using it (so there's no 'build up', it just appeared that way the first time I opened it).

I have 2 profiles in Chrome, and each one shows up 4 times. It seems like only the first one of each actually functions, when I tried to open links in the 2nd/3rd/4th nothing happened.
